We were delighted to recently welcome Nancy, Renée, and Mark from ZC Rubber to the UK for a packed program of site visits and industry engagement. Their trip offered a fantastic opportunity to strengthen ties between one of the world's leading tyre manufacturers and the heart of British agricultural engineering. The visit took in some of the most respected names in UK agricultural machinery, giving the ZC Rubber team a first-hand look at the environments in which their products are put to work every day.
The group kicked off with a factory tour of Richard Western Trailers, where they were able to see the manufacturing process behind some of the country's most trusted agricultural trailers. Walking the production floor gave Nancy, Renée, and Mark a real appreciation for the load demands and ground conditions that ZC’s tyres are engineered to handle.
From there, the team visited Shelbourne Reynolds, a name synonymous with innovative harvesting and handling equipment. The tour highlighted the precision engineering involved in modern agricultural machinery and underscored the importance of reliable, high-performance tyres in keeping that equipment running efficiently in the field.
A visit to Tong Engineering followed, where the group saw first-hand the post-harvest handling and processing equipment that depends on robust tyre performance, whether on a root crop harvester working in heavy soils or a field elevator operating across uneven ground.
The programme was rounded off with a dedicated day spent with Tom Lamb, providing valuable time for in-depth discussion, product review, and relationship building in a more focused setting.
Tom has always been a big advocate for Tianli tyres and almost all his farm machinery running ZC products.
